Exciting news, Hamptons dog lovers!

 We’re thrilled to announce that a temporary, fully fenced off-leash dog park is coming to The Hamptons, located at Hays Way & Hays Drive for Summer 2025! This pilot project will run from May 15th to September 15th, from 9 AM to 8 PM daily, giving our furry friends a safe place to run, play, and socialize.

 

  Why a Dog Park?

An off-leash space was the second-highest priority in our community needs assessment! This initiative aims to provide a safe and designated space for dogs while helping reduce off-leash activity in undesignated areas.

 

  About the Location

We understand there were concerns about park placement, as some residents use the space for other recreation. While this was the only approved site by the City of Edmonton, we’ve listened to feedback and reduced the park’s size by 35% to allow for shared use. Waste bags and garbage bins will be available on-site for your convenience.

 

To ensure the park remains a valued community asset, please respect your neighbours by following the posted rules, adhering to the hours of operation, and picking up after your dog. Let’s make this a success together!
