Soccer in The Hamptons (U-4 to U-8)

The Hamptons Community League is offering a unique soccer development program this spring for children in U-4, U-5, U-6, U-7 and U-8.

Our program emphasizes skill development and participation. Players from 3–8 years old will be placed in age appropriate development groups, led by skilled technical leaders and assisted by a team of community volunteers. These leaders will help carry out a step-by-step development model customized specifically for our community with a carefully thought out progression of modified games designed to maximize the development of team as well as individual skills. Players will be on the field or participating in drills more than 50 per cent of the time ensuring that all children are actively involved in the program.

All practice games will be played in The Hamptons on consistent size fields with proper goals. The program begins April 27 and will run until June 21. Players will receive a T-shirt. Note that our soccer program is not part of a soccer league.

Our program is offered the opposite nights of Glastonbury Community League soccer to accommodate players interested in participating in both programs. Visit the Glastonbury Community League website for information on their soccer league affiliated with the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association.
