Course Content:

CPR-C/AED Program:

Offers lifesaving first aid skills.  Course covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children and babies and automated external defibrillation (AED) skills.  This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards (for workplace and to allow individuals to respond to emergencies at home

Emergency First Aid

Basic on-day course: Skills to recognize, prevent and respond to circulation emergencies for adults (CPR), airway and breathing emergencies as well as the prevention of disease transmission

Babysitter Certification Course

Basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth who learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. The course also offers youth the training to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents.
